Circle Cardiovascular Imaging

Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, based in Calgary, develops cvi42 cardiovascular MR and CT image analysis software and related products such as report42 and StrokeSENS. Software is licensed per site as a capital (perpetual) purchase, subscription or trial, with concurrent-user counts.

  1. Licences are one of three types: capital purchase (continues in perpetuity unless terminated), subscription (runs until the end of the subscription period in the Sales Order Quotation) or trial.[1]

  2. The licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-assignable, is limited to the designated site, and may not be sublicensed or assigned.[2]

  3. Usage is counted in Concurrent Users (CCU); customers must buy enough CCUs to avoid disruption at peak use and must keep written records of their number of users, available to Circle on request.[3]

  4. Permitted use is limited to the licensee's internal operations and cardiovascular image analysis at the designated site; reverse engineering and use for third parties are not permitted.[4]

  5. Maintenance and support are provided through the Technology Assurance Program (TAP), and Circle supports only the current release and one version back.[5]
