CIMCO makes CNC software for manufacturing, including the CIMCO Edit NC program editor and DNC-Max, sold as lifetime or subscription licences with floating use and an optional network license server.

CIMCO Edit Professional lifetime licences use a floating license system: any number of users can install the editor, but only as many can run it at once as there are licences.[1]
CIMCO Edit Professional lifetime licences require an Internet connection to activate and use the license.[2]
CIMCO Edit is also sold as a subscription billed per 30 days or per year.[3]
With the CIMCO License Server, products such as CIMCO Edit and DNC-Max can be installed on any number of computers, but only the licensed number can run at the same time.[4]
