CADENAS

CADENAS makes PARTsolutions strategic parts management software, eCATALOGsolutions electronic CAD product catalogues and the 3Dfindit and PARTcommunity CAD model portals. Its installed software requires a licence file registered in PARTadmin, while CAD model downloads from PARTcommunity are free for business users under a fair-use policy.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Free tier

  1. Full use of CADENAS GmbH products always requires a licence file, which an administrator must store in PARTadmin.[1]

  2. Licences are imported in PARTadmin's licence management via Add file, or requested on the Request licenses online tab.[2]

  3. Within the fair use policy of 50 download tickets per day, using the PARTcommunity database and downloading CAD/BIM files is free of charge.[3]

  4. The PARTcommunity database may be used only by entrepreneurs within the meaning of Section 14 (1) BGB, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law, and the data may be used only for CAD and BIM designs.[4]

  5. The terms prohibit using the software or its data for machine learning or training neural network models, including generative AI, without the provider's consent, and prohibit copying or replacing the database.[5]
