Blackmagic Design

Blackmagic Design makes video production hardware and the DaVinci Resolve and Fusion post-production software. DaVinci Resolve and Fusion are free to download, while the Studio versions are sold as a paid licence that is also bundled with some Blackmagic cameras.

  1. The free version of DaVinci Resolve can edit and finish at up to 60 fps in resolutions as high as Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 and supports multi-user collaboration.[1]

  2. DaVinci Resolve Studio is listed at $295 and adds over 100 features, including the DaVinci AI Neural Engine, support for up to 120 fps at 32K resolution and multiple GPUs.[2]

  3. Access to advanced Dolby Vision trim controls in DaVinci Resolve Studio requires a separate licence from Dolby.[3]

  4. Fusion is available as a free download, while Fusion Studio is listed at $295 and is activated using a DaVinci Resolve licence.[4]

  5. All Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera models include a full version of DaVinci Resolve Studio.[5]
