baramundi software

baramundi software develops the baramundi Management Suite for unified endpoint management, covering inventory, software distribution, patching, OS deployment and mobile device management. It is licensed perpetually or on subscription, on premises or hosted.

  1. The EULA lists a perpetual acquisition model for on-premises software and a subscription model giving access to the software during the term, either on premises or in a hosted environment.[1]

  2. Software functionality is enabled through licence keys, and a copy may be moved to a different authorized machine as long as the licensed number of copies is not exceeded.[2]

  3. The licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable, and the EULA prohibits selling, sublicensing, leasing, renting or timesharing the software.[3]

  4. baramundi may audit the customer's books and records to verify compliance; if additional fees owed exceed 5% of the licence fees paid for the audited period, the customer must also reimburse the audit cost.[4]

  5. Existing licences continue to apply after a version update; managing more clients requires contacting a sales consultant.[5]
