Licensing at a Glance
- Subscription
- Per device
- Free tier
Avira grants a personal, revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the duration of the licence term to use the Products for personal or business purposes as permitted in the respective Product Information Sheet.[1]
Where the Product Information Sheet offers no multi-device licence, the licence is restricted to a single copy; moving to a new Device requires deleting the software from the old one.[2]
Users who opted for automatic renewal must give three months' notice before the end of a licence term to avoid being charged for the next term.[3]
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before billing; annual renewals may be billed up to 35 days before renewal, and renewal prices may be higher than the initial price.[4]
Contracts can be cancelled for a full refund within 14 days of purchase for monthly subscriptions and within 60 days of payment for annual subscriptions.[5]
