AVG is a Gen Digital brand of antivirus, privacy and PC performance software for consumers and small businesses. Free consumer editions are for personal, non-commercial use, and paid products are licensed per device for a subscription period.

The EULA grants a non-exclusive licence to use the solution for the Subscription Period set out in the applicable conditions, including extensions and renewals.[1]
Use is limited to the Permitted Number of Devices, such as PCs, mobile devices and other internet-connected devices, stated in the applicable conditions.[2]
Free products such as AVG Free Antivirus are Consumer Solutions for personal, non-commercial use by a natural person and their household; they are not licensed for commercial use or for businesses, government, non-profit or educational organisations.[3]
Solutions designated as Business Solutions may be used by the customer and its affiliates for internal business purposes.[4]
The contracting vendor depends on location: Gen Digital Inc. in the Americas, NortonLifeLock entities in Ireland/UK/Benelux, Japan and Asia-Pacific, and Avast Software s.r.o. for the rest of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.[5]
