Appcues, Inc. provides a SaaS platform for building in-app onboarding, product-adoption and customer-engagement experiences. It is sold as a subscription priced by monthly active users, installations and published experiences.

  1. Plans are Start (up to 3,000 MAUs, 10 published experiences), Grow (starting at 3,000 MAUs, 25 published experiences) and Enterprise (custom MAU volumes, 100 published experiences); every plan includes all experience types, features and integrations.[1]

  2. Pricing is based on monthly active users, number of installations and published experiences; MAUs are the users who sign into the customer's platform in a given month, and dormant users are not charged.[2]

  3. If a customer exceeds plan limits, experiences keep running and Appcues contacts the customer about upgrading at the next billing cycle; a free trial is available without a credit card.[3]

  4. The Terms of Service grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the Services during the subscription term solely for internal business purposes, and the Services may not be used for more than one product unless the order form says otherwise.[4]

  5. Services are billed in advance, monthly and annual payments are non-refundable, and mid-term cancellations are not permitted; cancellations take effect at the end of the current service period.[5]
