  • Software version support. Anaconda supports only the most recent version of a product by default, and defines Beta, End of Support, End of Life and Archived stages; exceptions are documented per product or contract. [3]
  • Python version support. Anaconda ends support for a Python version when the Python Software Foundation ends security updates, typically five years after release; existing packages stay available in the main channel. [4]
  • Platform support policy. Anaconda lists supported platforms (win-64, osx-arm64, linux-64, linux-aarch64) and discontinued ones with end dates; discontinued platforms get no new packages, updates or fixes. [5]
