Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Engine is an entry-level edition of Red Hat OpenShift that provides the basic functionality of the platform. It offers a subset of the features of OpenShift Container Platform, with full access to an enterprise Kubernetes environment. Its base consists of Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS, Kubernetes and basic cluster services, deployed with an automated installer.
