Account Management
Account Management, or Novell Account Management, is a component that uses Novell Directory Services user IDs and passwords as a common authentication system, removing the need for password synchronization. Its SDK provides C functions and an ActiveX control so applications can use standard eDirectory authentication instead of their own user ID tables, and it exposes details such as effective rights, security equivalence, home directory and group membership. The SDK page labels it an unsupported component, last updated in October 2004.
