Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange Server
Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange Server is an on-premises e-mail security product that protects inbound and outbound mail for Exchange servers with locally installed scanning engines and filters. The 2010 release is installed on Edge, Hub, Mailbox and Public Folder servers, screens messages in transit and in the store, and blocks out-of-policy content, malware and spam. It uses multiple scanning engines and has a hosted counterpart, Forefront Online Protection for Exchange.
