Microsoft Entra Connect
Microsoft Entra Connect is software for hybrid identity that synchronizes on-premises directories with Microsoft Entra ID. Version 2 is built on newer components, including SQL Server 2019 LocalDB, the MSAL library and TLS 1.2, and requires Windows Server 2016 or later. Azure AD Connect V1 was retired on August 31, 2022, and Microsoft recommends considering Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync.
