Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a cloud-native application protection platform that combines cloud security posture management, DevOps security and cloud workload protection across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and on-premises systems. Workload protection is delivered as plans such as Defender for Servers, Containers, Storage and Databases, while free foundational posture management is extended by the Defender CSPM plan. It also provides posture management and threat protection for generative AI workloads.
