Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (on-premises)
Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (on-premises) is a deployment option that runs Finance and Operations business processes in the customer's data center. Application servers and the SQL Server database run locally, and customers and partners manage the deployment through Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services. Microsoft states it is not supported on public cloud infrastructure such as Azure cloud services.
