- Email license expiration and exceedance: when usage exceeds the licence the account is flagged and an alert sent, but all mailboxes stay protected; if no action is taken the customer is contacted to reduce users or buy more licences. On expiry Sophos may allow up to 30 days on a temporary licence, for which it may charge, and renewals in that window start from the previous end date.
