- ThingWorx Licensing Basis (Eng. rev. Apr 2026): each ThingWorx SCP Platform Edition (Premium or Enterprise) includes one production Instance and unlimited non-production Instances, so two production instances (for example US and Europe) need two Editions. Users and Assets from several Editions may be shared across production instances, and each production Asset or User may also be enabled in each non-production instance. An Instance is one deployment of application servers at one site connected to a shared database.
