- ThingWorx Licensing Basis (Eng. rev. Apr 2026): ThingWorx SCP Connected Asset IoT Streams is licensed per Asset. A license is needed for each Asset whose data is streamed out of ThingWorx, even if aggregated with other Assets first. PTC example: streaming 100 of 150 connected Assets needs 100 licenses. Use is allowed in the entitled production instance and in all non-production instances for testing.
