- Kepware Licensing Basis (Eng. rev. December 2025): Kepware may be installed on a Virtual Machine or Container only if a separate license is bought for each Container or Virtual Machine instance on which it runs. If Kepware is installed on the host operating system of a Designated Computer in a network where VMs run, the host and each operating VM or Container need a license. Using virtualization to circumvent license controls is prohibited.
