- Global Renewal Policy: a customer that "wants to renew Support on only part of their install base for a perpetual licensed product because they are no longer using a portion of that install base" may request an exception and sign a "Shelving Letter".

- Request through the renewal account manager with usage reports from Cohesity utilities. Remaining Support is re-priced at the current list price and may increase. Reactivating shelved licences requires paying the lapsed Support, a reinstatement fee and one year of Support forward, backdated to the prior end date.
