- Definition
- Terms of Use §2.3: the customer may "install and use the Solution solely for the amount of users, seats or accounts that have been subscribed to". The Elements Endpoint Protection administrator guide describes the subscription as holding seats that devices occupy: "If the subscription is full, the device is not shown in Elements Security Center and is not protected."
- Counting rules
- Each device that activates with a subscription key takes one seat of that subscription. Removing a device in Elements Security Center frees its seat; a removed device that becomes active again reappears only if a seat is free. Automatic deletion of devices offline for a set period can be configured at company level. Devices beyond the subscribed quantity are left unprotected rather than over-counted.
