- Definition
- Business Unit Terms: "Processor" means a licensing Unit type for the Software, based on the count of Virtual and/or Physical Processors as described in the TIBCO Processor Licensing Policy and/or the TIBCO Cloud Computing Environment Licensing Policy.
- Counting rules
- In a Virtualized Environment, count the maximum whole number of Virtual Processors that could ever be assigned to each Virtual Machine running the Product and add them up. Elsewhere, count Physical Processors in the partition boundary (all Processors on the machine unless Fixed Partitioning applies). Multiply by 0.5 where multi-threading is enabled and round up. In a Cloud Computing Environment the CCEL Policy applies instead (maximum vCPUs of the cloud machine type, halved if multithreaded).
- Floors / minimums
- Each Virtual Machine counts at least one Virtual Processor; fractions are rounded up to the next whole number.
