- An identifiable individual, not necessarily named at the time of a licence grant, designated by the customer to access the Product, regardless of whether the individual is actively using it.
- Counting rules
- A person becomes a Named User on the earlier of being authorised to access the Product or first accessing it. Spotfire documentation adds that a named user is counted regardless of whether that user ever logs in, and that system users such as automated test accounts count like any other.
