- Definition
- Vantage Trial guide: "A TCore-Hour is a metric representing the availability of compute and I/O resources on the underlying infrastructure, by the hour. TCore is a metric used to price Teradata software."
- Counting rules
- The rate of draw depends on the number, type and TCore ratings of provisioned instances (for example an AWS R7i XSmall instance is rated 1.52 TCore and a 3XLarge 30.63). Scaling up or out raises the rate, scaling down or in lowers it, and a stopped system consumes no TCore-Hours.
- Floors / minimums
- No published minimum; AWS Marketplace subscriptions are bought as an annual quantity of TCore-Hours, topped up at the same price before expiry.
