- Counting rules
- Host-based subscriptions count monitored hosts. Each Infrastructure Monitoring host carries an entitlement of Containers or serverless functions and Custom Metrics (Standard Edition 10 and 100, Enterprise Edition 20 and 200); each APM host carries Containers, Profiled Containers, MetricSets, Trace Volume and Profiling Volume. Infrastructure Monitoring usage is measured hourly and the monthly usage level is the average of the hourly measurements.

Splunk pricing page lists Observability Cloud tiers from USD 15 (Infrastructure), USD 60 (App & Infra) and USD 75 (End-to-End) per host per month, billed annually.
