FactoryTalk AssetCentre software Ordering Guide: Asset Capacity is "the number of physical devices managed by FactoryTalk® AssetCentre software"; "Files and folders in the archive do not count against asset capacity".
Counting rules
Count the physical devices the system manages (controllers, FTP-hosting devices, robots, cameras, switches, drives, SCADA and HMI). Drives configured as I/O devices inside a controller project are covered by the controller backup and need no separate asset. Add-ons in increments of 100 or 25 assets.
Floors / minimums
Base package includes 10 assets; Standard package 100 assets.
