Definition
Application objects (OutSystems Support): "An application object (AO) is a measurement of the complexity of your applications on the OutSystems platform." The pricing page defines AOs as "the sum of the screens, database tables, and API methods across your apps".
Counting rules
Each screen, entity/database table, API method and custom-defined Event counts as 1 AO. Each entity and API method counts once per runtime even when several apps use it. Disabled applications count until deleted. Counting differs in places between OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (events, libraries, imported entities); see the AO article.
Floors / minimums
AO capacity applies to production runtimes only and is summed across all production runtimes. A typical medium-sized app is about 150 AOs; ODC capacity packs are sold per 150 AOs.
