- Artifactory Installation: "Artifactory HA is supported with an Enterprise X, Enterprise+, and Edge License. Each node in the cluster must be activated with a different license."
- Counting rules
- One licence activates one Artifactory service or HA node at a time; a licence can be moved between services while valid. Self-managed packages include a set number of Artifactory servers: non-commercial and Pro X 1, Enterprise X 3, Enterprise+ 6. With license buckets the JPD deploys the minimum number of licences each service requires.

- HA needs two or more nodes (three recommended for no-downtime upgrades) and an Enterprise X or Enterprise+ subscription.
