- A Service Instance refers to the pods or instances of a CD Service deployed to a host.
- Counting rules
- Harness tracks all Service Instances every 60 minutes and uses the 95th percentile of the data points seen over the last 30 days as the number of instances of the service, which excludes the top 5 percent of counts such as load testing or blue-green spikes.

- Instances above 20 for a service count towards another CD Service.
