- An API Call is any discrete unit of communication initiated by a software component to a service, endpoint or resource that is processed or protected by the Platform, over protocols such as HTTP, gRPC or WebSocket.

- Each API Call is counted individually whether allowed, blocked or flagged. The monthly entitlement is provisioned as a continuous rate (Calls Per Minute).
