- Definition
- nCOP Licensing: nCOP is "licensed on a per HSM basis (i.e., one nCOP license allows for the use of nCOP on a single network HSM)" and is compatible with all nShield network-attached HSMs including nShield as a Service. Container pods and application containers are limited by the HSM client licences purchased.
- Counting rules
- Each HSM client licence entitles one container pod (one active hardserver connection), and each pod up to 10 application containers (ratio 1:1:10). Examples: 5 client licences allow 5 pods and 50 containers; 25 or more allow 25 pods and at least 250 containers. An enterprise client licence removes the limits for that HSM.
- Floors / minimums
- Three client licences come free with each HSM.
