- Subscription Terms section 4: "A TLM Essential seat is consumed for each active endpoint managed by TLM." An active endpoint includes any endpoint discovered through scanning, configured for monitoring, or with a Certificate deployed and managed through TLM.

- Each endpoint is a unique combination of an FQDN and an IP address (a Site), as determined by DigiCert under its then-current seat calculation methodology; endpoints found by automated discovery are active on detection and consume seats until removed.
