- A seat licence that grants a user access to specific functionality, allocated by a system administrator to an organization and assigned to users by a system or organization administrator.
- Counting rules
- Users must be assigned seat licenses to access the licensed functionality. Seat assignment is a premium feature available to multi-tenant SaaS organizations with a seat licence allocation and to single-tenant SaaS or self-managed installations whose licence key has a cluster-level seat allocation. Non-builder seats can only interact with published applications and do not count towards the maximum active user allocation.
