- Definition
- Lakebase pricing FAQ: customers define the minimum and maximum auto-scaling range in Capacity Units (CUs) and the scale-to-zero timeout for each compute resource; "Billing is based on the number of capacity unit hours used by your workload."
- Counting rules
- Autoscaling compute is charged per Capacity Unit hour used, and can scale to zero. Always-On instances never scale to zero and carry a minimum usage rate per Capacity Unit hour; usage above the Always-On minimum is charged at Autoscaling rates. Storage is billed separately per GB-month (database, point-in-time restore and snapshots).
- Floors / minimums
- Always-On instances: minimum usage charged per Capacity Unit hour (USD 0.069 on AWS US East, Premium, at retrieval).
