Definition
License Types 2026.09: a Contributing Developer is any Contributor (an AI agent, bot, or individual) who has made one or more commits to a private Repository scanned by the Software in the last ninety (90) days.
Counting rules
Rolling 90-day window. Under version 2024.02 and in the Checkmarx One License screen, each developer is counted once across integrations and repositories, by the email address in the local git configuration. If an exact count cannot be determined, Checkmarx estimates it with a formula based on consumption metrics. Each licence carries 15,000,000 lines of code scanned per 90 days at account level.
