- Definition
- General Terms for Camunda Enterprise s.1: "Process Instances (PI) means the technical execution of a BPMN process definition in the Camunda Workflow Engine, independent of current status (pending or completed). Additional process instances that are invoked via call activities are not counted separately."
- Counting rules
- Each execution of a BPMN process definition counts once, whether it is pending or completed. Instances started through call activities are not counted separately. The Camunda 8 usage metrics documentation counts root process instances only (top-level executions with no parent). Self-Managed installations export the count through the usage metrics endpoint.
- Floors / minimums
- The Order Form states the PI quantity in the Permitted Usage. No public price list or tier table; pricing is by quotation.
