- Environments are set by the legal agreement. Production uses ENVIRONMENT_NAME.appiancloud.com and lower environments use ENVIRONMENT_NAMEdev.appiancloud.com (US GovCloud regions use appiancloud.us). Appian recommends at least four environments once the first application is in production.
