- Definition
- A FlexPool capacity pool is a shared floating pool of bandwidth in the Global License Manager that ACOS devices of any supported form factor check capacity out of; pool sizes listed are 10G, 20G, 50G, 100G, 150G, 270G and custom.
- Counting rules
- Capacity is allocated to instances in the pool and returned when no longer needed; the original data sheet gives instance granularity from 25 Mbps up to 40 Gbps in 1 Mbps increments and states there is no enforced cap on the number of instances per pool. For hardware appliances ACOS 7.0.3 sets platform minimum and maximum bandwidth (for example Thunder 3350(S) 40G to 70G).
- Floors / minimums
- Platform minimum bandwidth for hardware (for example Thunder 1060(S) 10G, Thunder 5960 100G, Thunder 7460(S) 150G).
