- Service Consumption Table: "Snowflake bills for compute using purchasable credits, as described herein (“Platform Credits”)." Footnote 1: where an Order Form, Agreement or Documentation refers to "Snowflake Credits" or "Credits", the reference is interpreted to refer to Platform Credits. Documentation: "A Snowflake credit is a unit of measure, and it is consumed only when a customer is using resources, such as when a virtual warehouse is running, the cloud services layer is performing work, or serverless features are used."
- Counting rules
- Virtual Warehouses and Compute Nodes use Platform Credits at the per-hour rate for their effective size while in operation (Table 1(a) standard warehouse: XS 1, S 2, M 4, L 8, XL 16, 2XL 32, 3XL 64, 4XL 128, 5XL 256, 6XL 512). Suspended warehouses use none. Multi-cluster: rate for the size x number of running clusters. Billed per second, rounded up to the nearest whole second, after the start/resume minimum. Serverless Features: one Platform Credit per Compute-Hour x the Table 5 feature multiplier. Cloud Services: 4.4 Credits per hour, not charged while daily Cloud Services credits are at most 10% of daily Virtual Warehouse credits. Price per credit depends on Cloud Provider, Region and Edition (Table 2(a)).

- Start/resume minimum: one minute for a Virtual Warehouse or Postgres Compute Node; sixty minutes for an Interactive Warehouse; five minutes for other Compute Nodes; Openflow 60-second minimum.
