- Slack Fair Billing Policy: "On paid plans, you’re billed for all the members of your workspace that are actively using Slack. Certain types of members are paid, while others are free."
- Counting rules
- Paid: Workspace Owners, Workspace Admins, Full members, Multi-Channel Guests. Free: Single-Channel Guests, bots. A member who has not used Slack in over 28 days is inactive and credited pro rata; an invited member is billable from the day the invitation is accepted. For invoiced customers, from renewals on or after 2023-12-14 a member who takes any action within a 28-day period is active.
