- Contributor — Contributors can view and edit data in ArcGIS maps and apps that are shared with them by other ArcGIS users. This user type is ideal for users who need to access and edit data that is shared with them and includes access to a selection of apps. The Contributor user type can also be used with custom editing applications created by customers or by Esri business partners. Contributors cannot analyze, create, or share items or data.
- Counting rules
- A user type is assigned to a member (one Named User) when invited to the organization; it determines the privileges grantable through roles and the included apps. Named User rules in the Master Agreement (E204) 2.5 apply: credentials may not be shared; reassignment only when the former user no longer requires access. E300 footnote 23: a Contributor (or higher) Named User Credential may be used for read-write system-to-system communication.
