- Oracle Partitioning Policy (14 February 2022, educational): in a Trusted Partition two vCPUs count as one physical core; licenses are procured in increments of 2 physical cores; the high-water mark of running vCPUs is licensed, capped at the physical cores of the machine; hyper-threading must be enabled. Virtual machines must be monitored by Oracle Enterprise Manager, except on Private Cloud Appliance 3.01 and later.
