- ECK documentation (as of 2026-09-26): ECK “automatically tracks the memory capacity of all managed Elastic Stack deployments and reports this information as Enterprise Resource Units (ERUs)”, updated every 2 minutes in the elastic-licensing ConfigMap. It reads configured memory (container memory limit, else doubled -Xmx heap), not runtime consumption. Elasticsearch, Kibana, APM Server and Enterprise Search are counted; Logstash for information only; Elastic Agent, Beats and Elastic Maps Server are not counted. Billable consumption follows the Self Managed Subscription Agreement.
