- Per SAP's 2020 overview: intended for full contract conversions as a one-time event; customer migrates to new S/4HANA Software Use Rights; no line-item mapping; maximum credit is the lesser of 100% of the current maintenance base or 90% of the net new license fee of eligible software; can be combined with the Cloud Extension Policy; shelfware can be re-allocated to new, unrelated software. After a contract conversion to S/4HANA Enterprise Management for professional use, SAP Named Users are not required to access licensed S/4HANA Enterprise Management, S/4HANA LoB or industry engines, or licensed classic engines ("Option B").
