- Documents for SAP Digital Access and/or Documents for SAP S/4HANA Digital Access are unique records (unique digital line-items/objects) categorized as nine Document Types (Sales, Purchase, Invoice, Manufacturing, Material, Quality Management, Service & Maintenance, Financial, Time Management). The SAP Digital Access Package grants humans a license to Use SAP ERP through Non-SAP Application(s) directly integrated to ERP without a Named User of ERP, and non-humans a license to Use ERP directly or through such Non-SAP Application(s) without a Named User (collectively Digital Access of ERP). SAP S/4HANA Digital Access is the parallel grant for S/4HANA Enterprise Management. Each Document shall count as 1 Document, except for Material Documents and Financial Documents which shall each count as 0.2 of a Document. - Counting rules
- All Digital Access of ERP / S/4 EM is licensed based exclusively upon the number of Documents created annually by such Digital Access. Documents are unique records (unique digital line-items/objects) under Exhibit 2 Documents for SAP Digital Access / Documents for SAP S/4HANA Digital Access. Each Document shall count as 1 Document, except for Material Documents and Financial Documents which shall each count as 0.2 of a Document. Where automated processing in ERP / S/4 EM of a Document from 1 Document Type results in subsequent creation of 1 or more additional Documents of different Document Type(s), those additional Documents shall not be counted. User Interfaces used to develop/manage user-interaction features are deemed part of ERP / S/4 EM, so human users via those UIs still need a Named User and/or User license. Humans (via Non-SAP Application(s) directly integrated) and non-humans (bots, sensors, chips, devices) using ERP / S/4 EM directly or through such Non-SAP Application(s) do not need a Named User of ERP / S/4 EM. A Connectivity App does not break direct integration. ERP / S/4 EM shall not include SAP Business Warehouse Software. S/4 EM includes SAP ERP Foundation Starter S/4HANA Compatibility Pack while Customer has the right to Use it.
