- Tableau Help: "A core-based license imposes no constraints on the number of user accounts in Tableau Server. Instead, the license specifies the maximum number of computer cores on which you can run Tableau Server."
- Counting rules
- Total cores on all computers that run one or more licensed processes may not exceed the licensed number; computers running only unlicensed processes do not count. Supports Explorer and Viewer users without a user count and a Guest User account, but includes no Creator seats. Perpetual core licences follow the same model.
