- Copilot Chat, Copilot CLI, Copilot cloud agent, Copilot Spaces, Spark and third-party coding agents consume AI credits. Code completions and next edit suggestions are not billed in AI credits and remain unlimited for all paid plans. Business/Enterprise: included credits per assigned license are pooled at the billing entity level. Individual paid plans: base credits are used first, then the flex allotment. Included credits do not carry over; the allowance resets at 00:00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month. Additional usage is billed at the per-token model rates converted at 1 AI credit = $0.01 USD.
