- Pricing FAQ: “All new annual subscriptions contracted directly from Elastic are billed using the prepaid consumption model, and their usage is metered in Elastic Consumption Units. In this model, you purchase Elastic Consumption Units (ECU) upfront, and all subsequent usage is deducted from the ECU balance.” The Cloud Service Subscription Agreement calls the committed consumption credits the “Credit Allotment”.
