- Definition
- A licensed user requires a unique user ID, such as an Active Directory entry. When a license is assigned to a user, the license allows the user to connect to their desktops and applications using multiple devices. A User license is assigned to the User and not to the User’s devices. These licenses are only user licenses and are not the same as user/device licenses.

Distinct from User/device and from the Business Unit Terms User (UHMC / Citrix Platform).
