- Adobe names a “Named User license” (Business Product Specific Terms §4, published/effective 7 October 2024) and “Named User offerings” (Software Product Specific Terms §1.3, last updated 18 June 2024). Business PSLT §4: licenses “may not be: (A) reassigned more than once every 30 days, or (B) used in any shared license or similar deployment model, which may indicate more than 1 person is using a single Named User license (including, but not limited to floating, leased, generic user, or shift license deployment).” Software PSLT §1.3: Term License Products “are Named User offerings, unless indicated as FRL.”
- Counting rules
- Assign one Named User license to one Business User (Admin Console). Except as Adobe expressly permits, licenses may not be reassigned more than once every 30 days, and may not be used in a shared license or similar deployment model indicating more than one person is using a single Named User license, including floating, leased, generic user, or shift license deployment. Adobe gathers metrics on licenses deployed and re-deployed (Business PSLT §4, effective 7 October 2024). Subscription and non-FRL Term License Products activate on Computers under the Computer metric, not as a conversion from Named User (Software PSLT §1.1, §1.3).

- No global Named User pack-size floor in the Business or Software Product Specific Terms. Count is the license quantity purchased. Business PSLT §2.1: at least one Admin must be assigned. VIP Select 10-license threshold is a buying-program discount level, not a Named User floor.
